Ibrahim Kabia, a 31-year-old Information and Technology engineer, appeared before Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah at Pademba Road Court No.1 to face four counts of larceny concerning significant property belonging to Leone Construction and Engineering Services.

The charges allege that Kabia stole various items, including cash and electronic equipment, from the Leone Construction and Engineering Services office on Bathurst Street in Freetown between October 3rd and 10th, 2025.

The stolen items listed in the charges include three thousand five hundred Leones (₦3,500), ten thousand Leones (₦10,000), seven thousand five hundred Leones (₦7,500), a Samsung plasma television valued at over one thousand three hundred US dollars, and an LG monitor valued at eight hundred Leones, with the total approximate value of the stolen cash and equipment being thirty-three thousand nine hundred fifty Leones (₦33,950).

The defendant did not enter a plea when the charges were formally presented. Prosecutor Inspector Mabel M. Tarawally confirmed to the court that she had served the defendant with the required case file copy.

Defense counsel, I. Kargbo, successfully requested bail for Kabia, citing his client's local residency, the availability of reliable sureties, and his willingness to enter into recognizance. Magistrate Jah granted bail set at fifty thousand Leones (₦50,000) with two sureties, who must be Freetown residents and provide valid identification.

The matter has been adjourned until February 6, 2026.
