In a significant engagement with the Muslim community at Rutile, Moriba Town, APC Flagbearer hopeful—popularly known as Jagaban—called for a departure from "the same old politics," urging a shift toward a narrative centered on genuine development and sacrifice.

Addressing a crowded gathering, the "Face of Hope" emphasized the need for the community to actively support their religious leaders. He noted that many Imams and community heads face significant hardships, asserting that the key to ending this suffering is through consistent aid and appreciation for their spiritual guidance.

"As leaders, it is our responsibility to provide guidance at every turn," he stated. "We must prioritize those who lead us in faith by aiding their requests and showing them the respect they deserve."

Jagaban urged delegates and community members to reject sentimental voting. Instead, he challenged them to elect leaders based on a proven passion for development—specifically those willing to sacrifice their personal resources for the public good before ever seeking an official appointment.

Presenting himself as the solution for change, he formally appealed to APC delegates to entrust him with the party’s flagbearer position.

Demonstrating his commitment to the community’s welfare, Jagaban announced several major initiatives.

He confirmed that 21 spaces have already been secured for pilgrims to embark on the Hajj to Mecca this year, with plans to increase that number to 31 next year. In response to direct requests from Moriba Town residents, he promised that all Imams, Deputy Imams, and Azas would be placed on a regular stipend.

Addressing the plight of educators, he announced that teachers in Islamic schools currently lacking "pin codes" (government payroll registration) will receive temporary payments until their status is regularized.

To conclude the engagement, Jagaban donated five billion Leones toward school development and the overall well-being of the teaching staff and any or all project

"With God’s power, my intentions for this nation are pure and genuine," he concluded, reinforcing his vision for a reformed and prosperous Sierra Leone.

Jagaban visited the Mattru-Jong Hospital and Nursing School, where he committed to supporting the institution through several key initiatives.

He pledged to provide the nursing school with 20 laptops and donated 250,000 New Leones.

Additionally, he will deploy a technical team to assess and repair the existing solar panel system and determine further infrastructural requirements.

These commitments are scheduled to be fulfilled by next Friday.
