Jagaban Opens New Mosque in Sahn Town

Mohamed Omodu Kamara, popularly known as "Jagaban," officially inaugurated a newly constructed mosque in Sahn Town, Malen Chiefdom, Pujehun District, to promote Islamic worship and foster community unity.

The opening ceremony drew a large gathering of traditional authorities, religious leaders, local stakeholders, youth, and residents celebrating the new facility.

Welcoming the delegation, Chiefdom Imam Alhaji Mustapha Fofanah expressed gratitude to Kamara for his visit and contribution, noting that the mosque will offer a conducive space for daily prayers, religious gatherings, and the promotion of peaceful coexistence.

Addressing attendees, Kamara—a prominent All People's Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant—emphasized his commitment to religious development and supporting the spiritual and socioeconomic needs of Pujehun District and Sierra Leone as a whole.

Sahn Malen Town Chief Abu Gombu commended the initiative, calling the mosque a vital enhancement to local infrastructure and urging residents to maintain the facility for future generations.
