Jagaban Pledges Le 1.5 Billion for Kailahun Community Empowerment

Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed "Omodu" Kamara, widely known as Jagaban and a prominent flagbearer aspirant for the All People's Congress (APC), announced a comprehensive Le 1.5 billion support package for key demographic groups in Kailahun during his visit on March 24, 2026.

This significant financial commitment is structured to address critical areas of socio-economic development, comprising Le 1 billion designated for women-led businesses, Le 200 million for academic scholarships, and Le 300 million to bolster the agricultural sector. Jagaban confirmed his return on April 11, 2026, to oversee the formal disbursement of these funds.

Mr. Ensah Jajua, the APC Kailahun District Chairman, formally welcomed the delegation and conveyed profound gratitude on behalf of the party executives, affiliate organizations, and the local constituency.

APC Regional Chairman, Hon. Maya Moiwo Kaikai, characterized the engagement as a milestone for the region. He noted the high level of anticipation among the membership and acknowledged the presence of Paramount Chief Musa Ngombukla Kallon III of Jawie Chiefdom. Hon.
