The respected figurehead of Sierra Leonean music, Jimmy B, has released a strong statement condemning the growing tensions within the nation’s entertainment industry. This follows a recent incident at Drizilik’s concert where rapper LAJ publicly confronted and verbally attacked Entertainment Ambassador Kao Denero.

In his message, Jimmy B, widely recognized as the “Godfather of Sierra Leone Entertainment,” expressed profound frustration over the persistent conflicts, public insults, and divisions that continually impede the industry's progress. “This situation is becoming excessive. The Sierra Leone Entertainment Industry is suffering,” he wrote, lamenting the continuous cycle of drama.

He noted that, despite his preference to remain removed from industry disputes, he is frequently sought out for counsel whenever major controversies arise. While appreciating the trust placed in him, Jimmy B conceded that he does not always possess the solutions, particularly when certain artists resist constructive approaches.

The veteran figure also disclosed that he has quietly mediated and resolved numerous issues behind the scenes, upholding the belief that the industry's welfare surpasses personal egos or the need for public acknowledgment. However, he emphasized that the repetitive nature of these conflicts is becoming exhausting. “But it is becoming tiring. I am genuinely sick and tired,” he added.

Calling for a greater sense of unity and professional maturity, Jimmy B urged an immediate cessation of public feuds. He appealed to the industry to prioritize professional conduct and collaboration to foster sustainable growth. His appeal has resonated widely among fans and stakeholders, many of whom share his concern for cultivating a more peaceful and constructive entertainment environment in Sierra Leone.
