The Board of Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL) has appointed Philip Sahr Sam as Team Manager for the Sierra Leone Under-19 Women’s Cricket Team, also known as the Junior Women’s Patriots.

Mr. Sam, who currently serves as Team Manager of Special Line Cricket Club, will assume his new role on 8th December 2025. His term will run until 28th February 2026, with the possibility of extension based on the team’s performance.

As Team Manager, Mr. Sam will collaborate closely with Head Coach Mohamed Pagal Mansaray, the Director of Coaching, and CSL management to guide the team toward qualification for Africa Division 1. He is expected to ensure professional management and operational support as the team prepares to compete in the ICC Under-19 Women’s World Cup Africa Division 2 Qualifier, scheduled to begin on 14th February 2026.
