Sierra Leonean international midfielder Abu Dumbuya has signed a one-year contract with Turkish club Gençlik Gücü Turk Spor Kulubu, with an option for a further year.
The 24-year-old Dumbuya is a versatile midfielder who can play in both central and defensive midfield roles. He is known for his passing ability, work ethic, and leadership skills. He has previously played for East End Lions, Mount Aureol SLIFA, and other clubs.
Gençlik Gücü Turk Spor Kulubu is a club based in Ankara, Turkey. They currently play in the TFF 3. Lig, the third tier of Turkish football. The club is hoping that Dumbuya can help them achieve promotion to the TFF 2. Lig this season.
Dumbuya is the latest Sierra Leonean player to move to Turkey in recent years. He hopes to inspire the new generation of Sierra Leonean footballers who want to move to Turkey to better their careers.
