Leone Stars Team Manager Commences FIFA Essential Course in Rabat

Abdul Karim Bangura, Team Manager of the Leone Stars, has formally commenced his participation in the FIFA Campus – Essential Course for National-Team Managers (2026 edition) in Rabat, Morocco.
Following the successful completion of prerequisite online modules and virtual sessions, the in-person workshop began today, gathering national-team management representatives from various countries for intensive professional development and practical engagement.
The inaugural day of the program centered on critical aspects of football administration, specifically addressing team management functions, coordination with key stakeholders, and contemporary methodologies for national-team operations and leadership.
Organized collaboratively by FIFA and the CIES, the course is structured to enhance the professional capacity of national-team managers via systematic education and experiential training.
The multi-day workshop, held in Rabat, is expected to significantly deepen the participants’ comprehension of modern football management practices.
This participation represents a key component of Mr. Bangura's professional development trajectory, intended to augment the performance and organizational efficiency of the Sierra Leone national team, the Leone Stars.
