Statistics Officers, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), successfully concluded a Master Trainers' Training session today at the Family Kingdom Resort. The rigorous capacity-building initiative aimed to prepare trainers for upcoming national statistical operations, yielding exceptional performance levels across all training modules.

The event commenced under the leadership of Communication and Public Relations Director Samuel T. Ansumana, who served as Master of Ceremonies.

Presenting a comprehensive performance overview, Data Science Division Director Theophilus Blaudfaust revealed that participants achieved outstanding results well above the 80 percent passing threshold.

A total of seven tests were administered throughout the session, including a specialized data quality evaluation. Daily performance metrics showed steady progress: participants recorded average scores of 94.1% on Day 1, 91.6% on Day 2, and 84.1% on Day 3, followed by a sharp rise in scores leading to a final examination average of 95.1%.

Assessments were conducted across three designated halls, all posting remarkable scores, led by the top-performing hall at 93.4%.

On Data Quality Management, Mr. Blaudfaust explained that this specialized stream was selectively administered to 52 master trainers with prior experience as facilitators in major national surveys. This cohort achieved a commendable average score of 83.0%.

Highlighting individual excellence, top performers achieved scores between 97.6% and 98.5%. Individual results have been published on the official organization portal for participants to review.

Concluding his presentation, Mr. Blaudfaust commended the trainees for their dedication and outstanding achievements.

Delivering executive remarks, Statistician-General Andrew Bob Johnny commended the master trainers and urged them to maintain high standards in the field, noting that strong performance in upcoming operations could lead to future contract opportunities.

Concluding the proceedings, formal certificates were awarded to over 20 qualified facilitators, with additional ceremonial presentations marking the end of the program.
