Minister Augusta James-Teima Champions Women's Football

The Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, led a distinguished delegation to witness an impressive display of women's football, where Mogbwemo Queens achieved a decisive 6–0 victory over Sierra Police at the Football Academy in Kingtom. 


The Minister's presence at the match underscored the government's ongoing support for women's sports.



After the match, Madam James-Teima awarded silver medals and a prize cheque to Sierra Police, who secured second place in the women's premier league. In her address to the players and officials during the post-match ceremony, the Minister expressed pride in the increasing prominence of women's football in Sierra Leone. 


She conveyed her delight in witnessing their performance and encouraged the players to stay focused, acknowledging the significant impact of the premier league on their development and reaffirming the government's commitment to ongoing support. 




She congratulated Ram K on winning the title and encouraged all teams to continue striving for excellence, expressing hope for more trophies and success stories in the future.
