NATCA Raid Uncovers Massive Tech Cache

A joint security operation led by the National Communications Authority (NATCA) has uncovered over 1,000 Android devices, multiple laptops, and 300 passport books at a site in Tiloma Village linked to a Chinese firm operating under the name Moa Agricultural Institute.
The multi-agency raid included personnel from the Sierra Leone Police, the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF), and the Office of National Security (ONS). Officials launched the investigation following preliminary findings at the facility.
Authorities noted that the unusual inventory has raised serious concerns regarding the true nature of the institute’s activities. The intended purpose of the seized electronics and travel documents remains unconfirmed as law enforcement examines the site.
The investigation is ongoing, and state agencies are expected to issue a formal update once forensics and witness interviews conclude.
