Nineteen Sierra Leone Police Officers Admitted to the Bar

The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) is proud to announce that nineteen of its officers have been formally called to the Bar, a significant achievement following the successful completion of their required academic and professional legal training. 

The officers, including Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Brima Kamara, Head of Media, Public Relations and Sports, were admitted on Tuesday, 16 December 2025.

This accomplishment underscores the SLP's commitment to continuous professional development and higher education within the force. 

This growing trend of officers attaining advanced qualifications strengthens the institution's capacity and competence. Encouraged by police leadership, this move enhances service delivery, reinforces the rule of law, and is expected to significantly boost public trust. 

The admission of these officers bolsters the SLP's internal legal expertise, aligning law enforcement practices with modern justice and policing standards.
