Njala University Takes Enrolment Campaign to Pujehun Schools and Communities

The Centre Supervisor of Njala University Pujehun Campus, Mr Thomas Vandi Sannoh, and his team on Monday, 12 October 2026, embarked on a sensitisation tour across Makpele and Sorogbema Chiefdoms to promote enrolment for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The tour included Ahmadiyya Agricultural Secondary School in Fairo, where the team engaged students, parents and community stakeholders on the academic opportunities available at the university’s Pujehun Campus.
Sannoh explained that Njala University is now accessible to residents in Pujehun Town, offering programmes in agriculture, forestry, livestock, aquaculture and fisheries, teacher training, Bachelor of Education, and technical and vocational skills.
He encouraged students not to abandon their educational ambitions because they lacked five West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) credits, noting that those with two or three credits could begin with certificate or diploma programmes and progress to degree level.
Meanwhile, Betty Sandy, Principal of Holy Rosary Senior Secondary School in Pujehun, urged girls preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and WASSCE to remain focused on their studies and aspire to university education.
The team emphasised that the Pujehun Campus operates as a full-time university and encouraged eligible students with three, four or five WASSCE credits to take advantage of the ongoing registration for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The tour concluded with appreciation from the school administration, which pledged to help spread information about the university’s programmes and enrolment opportunities across the chiefdoms.
Registration for the 2026/2027 academic year is currently ongoing at Njala University Pujehun Campus.
