Peace Restored: Kao Denero and Black Leo Family Settle Dispute with Musician Famous

Entertainment Ambassador Kao Denero has announced that the dispute between fellow musician Famous and the Black Leo family has been amicably resolved.


The matter was settled out of court, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing the growth and unity of Sierra Leone’s entertainment sector.


Kao Denero expressed his gratitude to key individuals who facilitated the resolution, including Hon. Sidie Mohamed Tunis, former ECOWAS Speaker of Parliament; Mr. Messeh Leone, international legal and media expert; Mr. Francis Ben Kaifala, ACC Commissioner; Mr. Umaru Koroma, Deputy Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources; and Sir Jimmy Batilo-Songa, National Chairman of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).


He also extended thanks to the judiciary and legal system for their support, highlighting the contributions of Justice Komba Kamanda, Chief Justice of Sierra Leone; Mr. Alpha Sesay, Attorney General and Minister of Justice; Magistrate Adama Kandeh of Court No. 4; and Magistrate Brima Jah.


Special recognition was given to his legal team, including Zachariah Azibo Kanu Esq, Alfred Kamand Esq, and Frederick Amara Esq, whose expertise ensured a smooth and fair resolution.


“As the Ambassador for the Entertainment Industry, I deeply appreciate the contributions and support of everyone involved. I look forward to working with all stakeholders in pushing our industry forward,” Kao Denero stated.
