PLB Inspects Diamond Stars’ Home Ground in Koidu

The Sierra Leone Premier League Board (PLB) has inspected the Koidu Community Football Field, home venue of Diamond Stars FC, to assess its suitability for hosting Premier League matches.
The inspection was conducted earlier on Thursday by PLB Chairman Osman Tommy and Competition Officer Sahr Paul Komba, who is currently serving as Acting Secretary General of the Board.
The exercise forms part of the PLB’s efforts to ensure that venues meet the required standards before being approved to host league fixtures. These standards are intended to promote the safety and welfare of players, match officials, supporters and other stakeholders.
The inspection also aligns with the broader commitment of Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Babadi Kamara, the SLFA Executive Committee and the PLB to improve match-day standards and ensure safe and suitable environments for Premier League football across the country.
Representing the Kono District Football Association (KDFA) were Executive Chairman Abubaker Mansaray, Vice Chairman Tamba Ngaugh, Secretary General Komba Kelvin Kembay, Deputy Secretary Tamba Komba and Finance Officer Jusu O. Alieu.
Diamond Stars FC was represented by Deputy Team Manager Amadu S. Bah, Secretary General Sia Comfort Nyukeh and Welfare Officer Munnah Kanneh.
