Updated: Mar 27

Ports Authority Football Club endured a resounding defeat against FC Kallon, conceding five goals in their inaugural match of the Leone Rock Premier League's second round. The encounter unfolded at the Sierra Leone Football Association Academy artificial turf, situated in Kingtom.

FC Kallon initiated the match with fervor, with winger Mahmoud Fofanah's precisely executed free-kick bypassing Ports Authority goalkeeper Saio Conteh. This objective appeared to dishearten Ports Authority, enabling FC Kallon to capitalize with a succession of goals.

The following goals were scored by Abu Bakarr Aziz Jalloh, Momoh Dumbuya, Yankuba Kamara, and Julius Goba, effectively rendering the match beyond Ports Authority's reach.

The woes of Ports Authority were further compounded when defender Alpha Bedoh was dismissed for a robust tackle on FC Kallon captain Saidu Fofanah. This red card left Ports Authority disadvantaged for a considerable portion of the match.

Lamin Bangura, head coach of Ports Authority, endeavored to alter the course of the match, but his efforts proved ineffective.

In contrast, Mohamed Kallon, coach of FC Kallon, was understandably elated with his team's dominant performance.

Mahmoud Fofanah of FC Kallon was recognized as the man of the match in light of his exceptional display.

Through this victory, FC Kallon has secured a promising start to the second round of the Leone Rock Premier League and aims to sustain this winning momentum.
