President Julius Maada Bio received a delegation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland, along with members of the District Grand Lodge of Sierra Leone and The Gambia, Scottish Constitution, at State House. This courtesy visit precedes the formal installation of Hon. Justice Nicholas Colin Browne-Marke as District Grand Master.

Justice Browne-Marke stated that the visit adheres to a tradition requiring the District Grand Master to meet the Head of State before assuming ceremonial duties. The official installation is scheduled for Saturday, and the delegation will also visit Connaught Hospital for charitable outreach.

Grand Master Mason Most Worshipful Brother William Ramsey McGhee expressed gratitude for the warm reception and conveyed greetings from the Scottish Constitution. He emphasized that their visit was both ceremonial and humanitarian, underscoring their commitment to supporting cancer care through charitable contributions.

President Bio warmly welcomed the delegation, praising the Freemasons for their enduring legacy of service to humanity and inviting them to enjoy Sierra Leone's peaceful atmosphere.
