Red Flames Basketball Team secured a dramatic 96-91 victory over Liberia’s LPRC Oilers in a thrilling double overtime encounter at the Independence International Club Friendly.

The highly anticipated contest lived up to expectations, with both sides producing an intense and entertaining display of basketball while refusing to surrender throughout the game.

After a fiercely contested regulation period ended with neither team able to gain a decisive advantage, the match was pushed into overtime. With the deadlock still unbroken after the first extra period, the game advanced into a second overtime before Red Flames eventually emerged victorious.

Nyakeh Foday was the standout performer for Red Flames, delivering an impressive all-round display with 30 points and six assists. His calmness under pressure and scoring ability in the crucial moments played a key role in sealing the hard-fought win.

Despite a determined and resilient effort from the LPRC Oilers, Red Flames showed greater discipline and execution in the closing stages to edge past their opponents.
