SLFA Appoints Elizabeth Alberta Kailey as New Women’s Football Manager

The Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has appointed Madam Elizabeth Alberta Kailey as the new Women’s Football Manager, effective immediately.

According to a press release issued on Friday, October 10, 2025, Madam Kailey’s appointment reflects the Association’s firm commitment to promoting gender equality and strengthening the structures that support women’s participation in football across Sierra Leone.

Madam Kailey brings with her extensive experience and a deep passion for the growth of women’s football. In her new role, she will oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of all women’s football activities nationwide.

The SLFA Executive Committee expressed full confidence in her leadership, emphasizing that her appointment marks a significant step toward advancing the Association’s vision of making women’s football a key pillar of Sierra Leone’s sporting development.

The Association reaffirmed its support for Madam Kailey and encouraged all stakeholders to work collaboratively to enhance opportunities for women and girls in football across the country.
