SLFA Distributes Motorbikes to Boost District Football Activities

ree

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) launched a major initiative on Thursday, July 10, by distributing 40 motorbikes to eight District Football Associations (DFAs). This distribution is part of a FIFA-funded pilot project, specifically designed to enhance football operations and support income-generating activities at the district level.

The project aims to distribute a total of 160 motorbikes across 16 districts within Sierra Leone's five regions. In this initial phase, the eight DFAs — Kailahun, Kono, Moyamba, Bonthe, Falaba, Koinadugu, Karene, and Kambia — each received five motorbikes.

The SLFA states that this initiative is strategically developed to improve the mobility and logistical capabilities of district football organizations, thereby promoting football development within their respective areas.
