SLFA President Babadi Kamara Inspects Renovation Works at Southern Arena Stadium

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and owner of Southern Arena, Babadi Kamara, recently conducted an on-site inspection of ongoing renovation works at the Southern Arena Stadium.

The renovation project is aimed at maintaining compliance with CAF and FIFA standards, ensuring that the stadium continues to meet international requirements for hosting football matches.

Southern Arena Stadium remains the only facility in Sierra Leone currently fit to host top-level local and international games. During the inspection, President Kamara highlighted his commitment to preserving the stadium’s status as a world-class sporting venue.

He further reaffirmed his dedication to promoting football development in the country by providing quality infrastructure capable of supporting the growth of the sport at both grassroots and professional levels.
