SLFA Retains Premier League Boards for 2026/27 Season to Ensure Continuity

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Executive Committee has officially confirmed the retention of its current Male and Female Premier League Boards for the 2026/27 season. The decision, announced in a statement released Monday, is designed to prioritize administrative stability and ensure the seamless delivery of the nation’s top-tier football competitions.


The SLFA noted that extending these mandates reflects a strategic commitment to strengthening domestic football governance through consistency in league operations.


Women’s Premier League Board Composition:

  • Chair: Hon. Mariatu Rachel Sesay-Pessima

  • Secretary: Angella Constance Gabbidon

  • Regional Representatives: Kadiatu Conteh (Northeast), Umu Hassan-King (Western Area), Kadiatu Manga Conteh (Northwest), Mommy George (Southern), and Water Campbell (Eastern).


Men’s Premier League Board Composition:

  • Chair: Osman Tommy

  • Board Members: John Dissa, Hon. Mohamed Papa Bangura, and Brima Turay.


To maintain stakeholder involvement, three Premier League clubs will continue to serve on each board on a rotational basis, bringing the total membership of each body to seven. The SLFA’s Head of Media and Marketing, Ibrahim Kamara, reaffirmed the association’s dedication to professionalism and sustainable growth as preparations for the 2026/27 campaign intensify.
