SLFA’s Babadi Honors Pledge, Begins Borehole Installation for Kenema City Field Community

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President, Mr. Babadi Kamara, has demonstrated his commitment to community development by fulfilling his pledge to provide a borehole for the people of Kenema.

Mr. Kamara made the commitment during the official launch of the House Of Pain Ataya Base on Saturday, 7th February 2026, promising a borehole machine to ensure easy access to water for both the House Of Pain Ataya Base and the Kenema City Field.

This commitment has now materialized, with work currently underway at the Kenema City Field. This timely initiative by the SLFA President is expected to significantly enhance access to clean water for players, supporters, and community members utilizing the facility.

The Chairman of the Kenema District Football Association, Mr. Mohamed Patteh Jabbie, and the wider football fraternity expressed profound gratitude to the President for honoring his commitment and supporting grassroots football and community welfare.
