The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced that FIFA has officially approved a specialised Goalkeeper Coaching Course to be held in Sierra Leone, aimed at enhancing the skills and expertise of local coaches.
According to a public notice issued by the SLFA, the course will take place at the SLFA Secretariat in Kingtom, Freetown, from Monday, 13th April to Friday, 17th April 2026.
This capacity-building programme forms part of FIFA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen technical development and improve specialised coaching within member associations. The course will equip participants with modern goalkeeper training methodologies and practical techniques designed to raise standards across all levels of football in Sierra Leone.
Interested candidates can collect application forms at the SLFA Secretariat, Kingtom, starting Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily.
The SLFA urged all eligible and interested applicants to submit their forms promptly, as spaces for the course may be limited. For further inquiries, applicants are encouraged to visit the SLFA Secretariat during working hours.
This initiative is expected to significantly boost the quality of goalkeeper coaching in Sierra Leone and contribute to the overall development of the nation’s football talent.
