SLPL Board Supports Injured Coach Daboh

The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has extended financial support to injured football coach Umaru Daboh as part of its commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of stakeholders in the country's football fraternity.
The gesture demonstrates the Board's concern for the health and recovery of Coach Daboh, offering solidarity during this challenging period and recognizing the vital role coaches play in developing football and nurturing talent across Sierra Leone.
Presenting the money on behalf of the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Usman Alphan Konneh, Chairman of the Pujehun District Football Association, noted that the intervention underscores the importance of collective responsibility among administrators, clubs, coaches, and players.
Coach Daboh was injured last week in an accident while attending official duties for the Board in Bo.
Appreciating the support, Coach Daboh expressed his profound gratitude to the SLFA and the Premier League Board, describing the gesture as both timely and important.
He highlighted that this initiative emphasizes the need for greater attention to the welfare and protection of football stakeholders in Sierra Leone, while the broader football community continues to wish him a speedy recovery.
