The Saint Paul’s Old Students Association (SPOSA) officially handed over a newly constructed six-classroom building to Saint Paul’s Secondary School on Friday, October 30, 2026. The milestone initiative aims to alleviate classroom overcrowding and upgrade the school’s learning environment.

The ceremony drew alumni, school administrators, teachers, pupils, and local community stakeholders to celebrate the project’s completion.

Speaking on behalf of the association, former Senior Prefect Emil Rogers emphasized the vital duty of alumni to give back, noting that the new facility reflects SPOSA's enduring dedication to fostering quality education for future generations.

Adding to the call to action, Secretary to the President Alhaji Brima Barba Fortune urged former students and benefactors across the region to invest in the ongoing development of their alma mater.

Accepting the keys on behalf of the administration, Substantive Principal Paul Jusu commended SPOSA for its timely support, stating that the additional space will immediately ease pressure on existing infrastructure and bolster academic performance.

School leadership also advised pupils to take pride in the facility, maintain its upkeep, and remain dedicated to their studies.

The project highlights how alumni contributions and community partnerships complement public efforts to enhance educational infrastructure throughout Sierra Leone.

Major funding for the construction was championed by prominent alumni, including Emil Rogers, Executive Secretary of the Roberts Flight Information Region; Paul A. Sengeh; and Dr. Francis Mustapha Kaikai, former Minister of Planning and Economic Development.
