The Kenema District Students Union (KenDSU) Free Quality Summer School, currently underway at the Islamic Secondary School, is receiving significant support from various stakeholders in the district, underscoring a collective commitment to enhancing educational standards.
Frank Bockarie Coker (FBC) Investment, located at 22 Humonya Avenue, Kenema, has announced its full sponsorship for the production of results for all pupils attending the summer school.
This generous contribution, valued at approximately NLe 2,000, aims to ensure proper evaluation and assessment as examinations are currently in progress.
Further bolstering the initiative, the Registrar of Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone has also donated NLe 500 to KenDSU.
This contribution is specifically intended to motivate and encourage the volunteer teachers who are dedicating their time and expertise to deliver quality lessons to the students.
According to the KenDSU coordinator, these gestures clearly demonstrate a strong commitment to student unionism and the promotion of quality education within the district.
In an interview, the KenDSU Executive expressed profound gratitude for these timely supports and urged other individuals and institutions to emulate these inspiring examples.
They emphasized that "no contribution is ever too small" towards the success of the Free Quality Summer School Initiative, highlighting the vital role of community engagement in fostering educational growth.
