Strategic Rainbow City Development

Strategic Rainbow City Development
Strategic Rainbow City Development

Rainbow City is a landmark urban regeneration initiative located along the Hillside Bypass Road in Eastern Freetown. Driven by the strategic vision of the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Nabeela Farida Tunis, this project has successfully transitioned from a conceptual framework into a tangible reality.

Inspired by John Akinola and formally named by the local community, the initiative represents a collective commitment to urban beautification and national pride.

This development serves as a premier example of the synergy between creative vision and decisive public action. It aims to revitalize public spaces to reflect the cultural identity and future aspirations of Sierra Leone.

The aesthetic execution of Rainbow City was made possible through the exceptional artistry of Morrison Jusu, whose work has been widely acclaimed by citizens and visitors alike. His contribution has been instrumental in establishing the site as a symbol of contemporary Sierra Leonean creativity.

As we look toward the next phase of development, we are seeking strategic partners and sponsors to support the expansion of this vision to other regions. This is an invitation to contribute to a transformative national project that prioritizes community engagement and sustainable urban design.
