Wosilat’s Dominance: Nigerian Star Shines in Women’s Premier League

Abdulwaheed Bamidele Wosilat, the Nigerian-born football talent formerly with Patricia Umu Football Club in Kambia, is currently delivering exceptional performances for Kallon Female FC in the Women’s Premier League.

Recognizing her superior physical attributes, technical dribbling, and defensive recovery speed, the Kallon FC technical staff successfully transitioned Wosilat from central defense to a striker role. While still refining her craft in this new position, she has rapidly become a pivotal offensive asset.

Wosilat has maintained an impressive scoring record, finding the net in four consecutive matches for the Cavaliers Ladies and totaling nine goals across fourteen appearances this season. Her contributions extend beyond scoring, with two key assists and three "Woman of the Match" accolades—including back-to-back honors—solidifying her status as the club’s leading scorer.

As Kallon Female FC prepares to host the reigning champions, Ram Kamara FC, Wosilat aims to extend her scoring streak. Having previously scored the opening goal in their narrow 2-1 first-leg defeat at Coronation Field, she is focused on delivering a decisive performance in the upcoming fixture.

The continued ascent of Abdulwaheed Bamidele Wosilat underscores her versatility and growing influence as one of the most dynamic and impactful players in the Women’s Premier League this season.
