SWASAL Celebrates as Veteran Sports Journalist Chernor “Vah” Bah Weds in Bo

The Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) has extended warm congratulations to one of its respected members, Chernor “Vah” Bah, following his marriage to his partner, Fatmata Binta Bah.


The colourful wedding ceremony took place on Sunday, 3 May 2026, in Bo City and attracted family members, friends, colleagues, and stakeholders from the sporting fraternity, all gathered to witness and celebrate the union.


Chernor “Vah” Bah is a seasoned sports journalist with years of experience in the profession. He currently works with the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) 96.5 FM in Bo and also serves as Vice Chairman of SWASAL South.


Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for professionalism, dedication, and passion for sports journalism, earning the respect of colleagues within the media and sports sectors.


In its congratulatory message, SWASAL described the occasion as a significant milestone in the life of its member, noting that marriage marks the beginning of a new chapter.


The association further expressed confidence that the new union will be blessed with love, mutual respect, and lasting happiness, while reaffirming its continued support for its members both professionally and personally.
