Zainab Sheriff Remains in Custody as Magistrate Denies Bail Once Again

In the ongoing trial of model and activist Zainab Sheriff, Magistrate Mustapha Brima Jah has denied bail for the fourth consecutive time. Ms. Sheriff, who faces charges of inciting conduct and the use of threatening language, is scheduled to remain in custody pending her next court appearance on March 18, 2026.

Authorities contend the content incited violence against individuals suspected of electoral interference. The investigation involved the defendant's arrest at Main Goderich Road and the seizure of a mobile device for forensic examination.
