Francis Ben Kaifala, Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), and his wife, Sonia Jaffal Ben Kaifala, recently celebrated the baptism of their daughter, Mary Magdalene, into the Catholic faith. The couple shared this significant family event on social media, offering a personal insight into their family life.
In his social media post, Kaifala emphasized the fundamental parental responsibilities of naming a child and introducing them to spirituality. He explained their decision to choose a name with profound spiritual significance for their daughter's initiation into their Catholic faith.
Kaifala stated,
"As a Catholic family we named our daughter Mary Magdalene and baptized her into the faith. Let that be her lamp onwards."
Prior to the baptism, the child was known as Kugbanyahi. This sacrament marks a new beginning for their daughter, enveloped by faith, family, and love.
The Kaifala family has received numerous well wishes and prayers for baby Mary Magdalene from friends, relatives, and well-wishers.
This ceremony represents an important milestone for the Kaifala family, who continue to share aspects of their faith and family life with the public.
