Freetown Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr reported two distressing incidents that occurred in quick succession on Saturday morning: an accident involving her vehicle and a fire that destroyed her driver’s residence.
The Mayor's car was struck by a truck in what she described as a severe accident, resulting in significant damage, particularly to the side she typically occupies. Fortunately, Mayor Aki-Sawyerr was not in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
