ACC Investigates Sierra Leone Law School Director for Corruption

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has officially initiated an investigation into the Sierra Leone Law School following a formal referral from the Council of Legal Education.
Per a formal communication from the Commission, the inquiry focuses on allegations involving the Director of the Law School, Dr. Abu Bakarr Bangura.
The ACC has confirmed that the investigative process is underway. Subject to the full cooperation of all relevant stakeholders, the Commission aims to conclude its findings within a thirty-day timeframe.
“The Commission underscores that the investigation is actively proceeding and is projected to conclude within one month, contingent upon the comprehensive cooperation of all parties involved,” the official statement noted.
The Commission further advises all individuals associated with the inquiry to provide their complete assistance to facilitate a thorough and efficient resolution.
Reaffirming its mandate, the ACC continues its commitment to addressing corruption within the public sector of Sierra Leone, maintaining a steadfast focus on the principles of transparency and institutional accountability.
