APC Acting Chairman Calls for Unity Ahead of 2028 Elections

The Acting National Chairman of the All People’s Congress (APC) Amb. Yansaneh, has delivered a robust New Year's address, strongly advocating for internal peace, reconciliation, and unity as the party strategically prepares for its upcoming internal processes and the 2028 general elections.
In his statement, the Acting Chairman implored party members and supporters nationwide to transcend past divisions and personal conflicts. He underscored that the New Year signifies a critical opportunity for the party to forge a united front. While acknowledging previous disagreements, he emphasized the current necessity for forgiveness, mutual understanding, and genuine camaraderie, particularly as the APC advances toward its conventions.
The Chairman called for the dissolution of all internal factions, urging members to rally under the singular banner of "TEAM APC." He asserted that loyalty, commitment, and energy must be immediately redirected toward rebuilding a formidable party capable of securing victory in 2028.
Furthermore, he revealed that the National Executive is scheduled to meet with Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, Alhaji Chief Sam Sumana, and all flagbearer aspirants to consolidate unity and meet the expectations of the party base and the public. He concluded by stressing that unity is paramount not only for electoral success but also for national service.
