APC Flagbearer Aspirant Jagaban Donates Engine and Fuel to Support Moyamba Sea Ambulance Initiative

The leading Flagbearer Aspirant of the All Peoples Congress (APC) party, Sheikh Alhaji Chief Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, has made another significant community contribution by donating a 40-horsepower engine and 2,000 litres of fuel to support the rescue and transportation of pregnant women in Moyamba District.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the district, Hon. Alpha Ben Mansaray explained that the engines will be used to strengthen the Sea Ambulance Initiative, which transports pregnant women with emergency conditions from riverine communities to hospitals.

Hon. Mansaray shared the origins of the initiative, saying, “I pioneered this effort with just one borrowed-engine speedboat in my riverside community, where ambulances can’t reach. We’ve already saved three pregnant women, transporting them to Hatfield Archer Memorial Hospital in Rotifunk for critical care.”

In response, Jagaban said, “Hon. Mansaray, I’m backing your efforts in Moyamba District. Your sea ambulance initiative touched me, and I’m honored to support your life-saving work. Only Allah can truly reward you, but I’m privileged to contribute.”

Expressing deep gratitude on behalf of the people of Moyamba District, Hon. Mansaray added, “Today is a very special day for me. I want to sincerely thank you, Jagaban, for this profound support. This gift is not for APC, SLPP, C4C, or NGC; it is for all pregnant women. You donated this for the service of humanity and for the sake of God.”
