APC MP Walks Out of Live Radio Interview Amid Heated Exchange

A live morning interview on Radio 98.1 took an unexpected turn today when Honourable Abdul Karim Kamara, a member of parliament from the All People’s Congress (APC), abruptly walked out of the studio.

The discussion became tense after Kamara was asked about remarks by his colleague, Minkailu Koroma, who recently stated that if the 2028 election is rigged, the country would become ungovernable. During the exchange, Kamara said he was repeatedly interrupted by Moses Mambu, the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) National Public Relations Officer, making it difficult for him to fully express his views.

Kamara later clarified that his decision to leave was not prompted by the question itself, but by the continuous interruptions, which he said hindered a free and fair discussion.

The interview, which began calmly, escalated into a heated debate and ended abruptly when Kamara exited the studio.

The incident has since sparked reactions online, with many debating whether the MP’s walkout was a justified response or an overreaction to the dynamics of the discussion.
