The management, staff, and pupils of Bo School have expressed excitement following the announcement by Babadi Kamara to construct a modern 2,000-seater mini stadium and a six-a-side football pitch for the institution.
According to reports, the proposed sporting facilities are expected to transform sports development within the school and create greater opportunities for young football talents. One of the facilities will reportedly be built at the school’s main playing field, while the second pitch will be situated between Liverpool and London towns within the school compound.
The ambitious project is anticipated to greatly enhance sporting activities at the institution while also benefiting the surrounding community by providing improved recreational and training facilities for young athletes.
In a significant move toward the implementation of the initiative, representatives from FIFA recently visited the proposed site to conduct assessments and hold discussions regarding the planned development.
Students and staff members of Bo School have described the announcement as a major milestone for the institution, commending Babadi Kamara, an old pupil of the school, for his continued commitment to the advancement of sports and education in Sierra Leone.
Many within the school community believe the project will contribute immensely to grassroots football development and help nurture future talents by providing modern sporting infrastructure for generations to come.
