Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, a flagbearer aspirant for the All People’s Congress (APC), has publicly defended the party's recent ward elections, characterizing the process as a significant stride toward reinforcing internal democracy, notwithstanding localized challenges.

In a statement released on his official platform post-election, Dr. Bangura confirmed his participation alongside thousands of party members. He highlighted reports from his nationwide teams indicating a substantial turnout of enthusiastic and committed APC supporters.
