The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has approved the Paynesville-Samuel Kayon Doe sports Complex in Monrovia, Liberia, as the host venue for Sierra Leone’s upcoming TotalEnergies AFCON 2023 qualifying match against Nigeria, the Sierra Leone Football Association announced in a news brief.
The news brief went on to say that the said match-day 5, remains a crucial tie for both nations, and it has been scheduled to play on Saturday June 18th 2023 in neighbouring Liberia.
Sierra Leone lost the first leg by 2-1 in Abuja and sits in 3rd position in Group A with five (5) points, having recorded two draws and a win with 4 matches played.
