Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL) has officially announced the appointment of a new technical leadership team for its Under-17 Boys squad, in a move aimed at strengthening youth cricket development across the country.
According to a statement released on Friday, March 27, 2026, the Board has appointed Miniru Kpaka as Head Coach, while Sheka James Kamara will serve as Team Manager.
The appointments are part of CSL’s broader strategy to invest in grassroots and youth cricket, with a focus on building a strong pipeline of talented players capable of representing Sierra Leone at higher levels of the game.
Both officials are expected to officially assume their roles on Saturday, March 28, 2026, as preparations intensify for upcoming youth engagements and development programs.
The Board and Management of Cricket Sierra Leone expressed strong confidence in the abilities of the newly appointed technical team, noting their experience and commitment to nurturing young talent. They also extended their best wishes, expressing optimism that the duo will guide the Under-17 team to notable success in future competitions.
