The Ministry of Information and Civic Education, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), recently concluded a six-day training program designed to enhance responsible civic engagement among online platform participants.
The initiative targeted individuals with a strong presence on social media who actively disseminate information on various Sierra Leonean subjects.
Held on Wilkinson Road, the training brought together a diverse group of bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers. Participants received instruction on a range of crucial topics, including writing, videography, photography, content creation, and the applications of Artificial Intelligence in their work.
Attendees expressed how the lessons learned would be instrumental in improving their professional output and, by extension, contribute positively to the country's national image.
