Fatima Bio Would Be Hard to Beat in SLPP Flagbearer Race - Ebema Movement PRO

The Public Relations Officer of the Ebema Movement, Victor S.O.B Davies, has stated that First Lady Fatima Maada Bio would be a strong contender should she decide to contest the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) flagbearer position.

Speaking on Epic Radio, Davies said Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh, and other potential aspirants would face a difficult challenge if the First Lady entered the race.

He noted that First Lady Fatima Bio enjoys considerable support within the SLPP, particularly among party members and delegates who participate in the flagbearer selection process.

Davies added that the First Lady’s relationship with supporters across the party base would give her a significant advantage in any internal leadership contest.

He further maintained that her popularity and strong connection with grassroots supporters continue to reinforce her political influence within the ruling party.

His comments come amid ongoing political discussions and speculation about possible contenders for the SLPP flagbearer race, although First Lady Fatima Bio has not officially declared her intention to contest.
