Musician Fyn Face has formally submitted an appeal to President Julius Maada Bio, requesting his consideration for the role of Peace Ambassador.
This public petition emerges as the current titleholder, Alhaji Amadu Bah (popularly known as LAJ), faces ongoing legal proceedings.
During a recent public assembly in Bo City, Fyn Face demonstrated his commitment by personally appealing to the President. As a prominent figure within the Black Leo movement, he underscored his eagerness by kneeling before a crowd of dignitaries, which included the first family and other dignitaries, to assume the diplomatic responsibilities associated with the position, presenting himself as a viable candidate to maintain the mandate of the office during the current vacancy or transition.

Social media analysts have observed that this strategic move coincides with the remand of the incumbent Peace Ambassador following allegations of misconduct involving the Mayor of Kenema.
The gesture has elicited a range of public reactions, with some praising the artist's initiative and others evaluating the appropriateness of the timing given the active court case.
The Office of the President has yet to release an official statement regarding the proposal. Meanwhile, public discourse remains active as citizens and stakeholders debate the criteria for the Peace Ambassador role and the future leadership of the office.
