Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, widely recognized as Jagaban, has affirmed a message of unequivocal unity within the All People’s Congress (APC) in light of recent events concerning the party’s National Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya.

“Within the APC, a challenge faced by one member is perceived as a challenge to the entire party,” Jagaban asserted in a recent interview, underscoring the organization’s commitment to shared responsibility and collective resilience during trying times.

These comments follow the commencement of legal proceedings involving Mr. Dumbuya, who was recently granted bail under court-mandated conditions. The matter is scheduled for further hearing on 24 February 2026.

Jagaban’s remarks align with the prevalent sentiment within the party, as members have publicly demonstrated solidarity with the Secretary General since his initial arrest. The case has attracted considerable attention among the party’s base and within the wider political landscape, initiating renewed discourse on unity and internal cohesion within the APC.

While the legal process is ongoing, the party is evidently focused on projecting a united front. Jagaban’s statement serves to reinforce this position, emphasizing that difficulties faced by individual members are fundamentally regarded as collective organizational concerns within the APC.
