The Karene District Coaches Association (KaDCA) has formally thanked national and regional football authorities following the successful completion of the CAF D Diploma Licence Coaching Course, held from October 5 to 9, 2026.

In an official vote of thanks, KaDCA expressed deep appreciation to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), the Northwest Region Football Association, and the Karene District Football Association for their vital financial, moral, and logistical backing.

Special recognition was extended to SLFA President Babadi Kamara, Technical Director John Edward Kister, and the broader SLFA administration for their continued focus on enhancing technical and coaching capabilities across Sierra Leone.

KaDCA also highlighted the essential contributions of the Northwest Region Football Association leadership—including Chairman Abdul Osman Turay (A.O.T.) and Technical Director Ibrahim Bristo Kamara—as well as Karene District Football Association leaders Chairman Abdul Kandeh Turay, Vice-Chairman Alhassan Turay (Money Face), and General Secretary Brima Sorie Turay (B.S.T.).

The association further thanked the leadership of the Karene District Football Association, including Chairman Abdul Kandeh Turay, Vice-Chairman Alhassan Turay, popularly known as Money Face, and General Secretary Brima Sorie Turay, also known as B.S.T., for their valuable contributions and encouragement.

Organizers noted that the five-day intensive programme provided participants with updated technical insights, practical coaching skills, and modern tactical methods designed to elevate grassroots football standards throughout the district.

“Investing in coaches is fundamental to developing local talent and raising the standard of play nationwide,” the association noted in its statement.

Reaffirming its long-term goals, KaDCA assured stakeholders that the newly trained coaches will immediately apply their skills within local clubs and youth academies, while urging continued collaboration to further advance the sport across the country.
