Ahead of the festive season, the Integrity Management Committee (IMC) of the Kenema Police Division convened its second strategic review meeting, chaired by Deputy Superintendent Alhaji Foday Tarawalie, the Divisional Support Officer.


DSP Tarawalie emphasized the IMC's crucial role in promoting ethical conduct, ensuring accountability, and enhancing public trust through internal monitoring and the prevention of integrity-related concerns. He stressed that upholding integrity is a collective responsibility across all units.





Local Unit Commander, Chief Superintendent Bob Musa Mansaray, commended the committee’s work, viewing the meeting as vital for leadership to engage personnel, address emerging concerns, and refine operational strategies for improved service delivery. He encouraged strong teamwork and sustained support for commanders to ensure professional and disciplined duty execution.


Discussions focused on strengthening professional conduct, addressing indiscipline, improving officer-public interaction, and curbing improper investigative practices. The committee unanimously agreed to hold a dedicated engagement session with all investigative units to reinforce professionalism and ethical standards. The Chairman concluded by urging personnel to embrace integrity as the foundation of policing to earn and maintain public confidence.
