Kenema Police Introduce Integrity Committee to Boost Accountability and Professionalism

The Kenema Police Division on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, formally introduced its newly established Integrity Management Committee (IMC) to all personnel during the general parade at Kenema Police Station.


Moderated by Sub Inspector Brima James Musa, secretary to the committee, the session highlighted the IMC’s role in promoting discipline, honesty, and transparency among officers. Musa explained that the committee is part of broader police reforms aimed at restoring public trust and strengthening professionalism.


DSP Alhaji Foday Tarawalie, the IMC focal person for Kenema, stressed that the team will help reintroduce the core values of integrity and ethical leadership within the force.

Chief Superintendent Bob Musa Mansaray, Local Unit Commander, urged officers to embrace the committee’s goals, while Assistant Superintendent of Police Ensah Ngunya emphasized that integrity requires teamwork.

The presentation concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, reinforcing the collective responsibility of all personnel to uphold high standards and maintain public confidence in the Kenema Police Division.
