Following a 1-1 draw against Guinea-Bissau, the Leone Stars are now setting their sights on their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Ethiopia. 

They arrived safely in Monrovia, Liberia via Air Sierra Leone and are reportedly in high spirits and fully focused on securing a victory against Ethiopia at the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. 

The team's initial journey from Freetown International Airport on Monday, September 1, 2025, was facilitated by a chartered Air Sierra Leone flight, a testament to the significant backing from the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Authority (NSA).
