Sierra Leonean forward Momoh Kamara has concluded his season with Minnesota United 2 following the team’s 2–1 defeat to Colorado Rapids 2 in the MLS Next Pro Semifinals.
The match, which marked Kamara’s final appearance of the 2025 campaign, ended Minnesota United 2’s impressive run in the competition. Despite the narrow loss, the young striker’s consistent performances were among the team’s highlights this season.

Kamara finished the campaign with four goals and two assists in 14 appearances, demonstrating his attacking versatility and growing influence in the squad. His contributions proved vital in several key matches that helped Minnesota reach the latter stages of the tournament.
Since joining the club, Kamara has continued to make steady progress, earning recognition for his pace, technical ability, and work ethic on the field. His development in the MLS Next Pro league is seen as a positive sign for both his club career and Sierra Leone’s emerging pool of international talent.

While Minnesota United 2’s journey ended short of the final, Kamara’s strong individual performance this season reinforces his potential as one of Sierra Leone’s promising football prospects abroad.
